This area is dedicated to Authorizations and Qualifications – below you will find the small gallery containing the necessary documentation regarding authorization to operate and test within the Japan Karate Association.

 

Qualifications Requirements (Referee, Instructor and Examiner) Very important : Each gulf country holds a Special DAN right License, that allows the chief instructor alone to examine the local karate-ka to a particular DAN grade.

Please refer to your country chief instructor for any/more questions.

Instructor D 2nd Dan 20 years of age or older
Instructor C Min 3 months wait after receiving 3rd Dan Class D Instructor Certification
Instructor B Min 3 months wait after receiving 4th Dan Class C Instructor Certification
Instructor A Min 3 months wait after receiving 6th Dan Class B Instructor Certification

Referee (Judge):

Judge D Min 3 months wait after receiving 2nd Dan
Judge C Min 3 months wait after receiving 3rd Dan Class D Judge Certification
Judge B Min 3 months wait after receiving 4th Dan Class C Judge Certification
Judge A Min 3 months wait after receiving 5th Dan Class B Judge Certification
Judge International Class A Judge Certification, Upon recommendation of Instructor Committee

All licenses are valid for a 3 years – a renewal is a must.
